Main duties and responsibilities for this position will include:
• Taking ownership of the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the mechanical components of our Water Treatment Systems.
• Establishing programs for the coordination of manufacturing activities while also ensuring usage of resources is cost effective.
• Inspecting Water Treatment Plants to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
• Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for resource utilisation.
• Coordinating and managing engineers and site staff.
• Managing the procurement and delivery of materials and subcontractors.
• Negotiating and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Preparing tenders and contract bids.
• Managing and implementing the project delivery schedule and timeline.
• Managing project budgets and preparing monthly reports.
• Ensuring adherence to company and government safety, quality, cost and performance standards.

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of construction experience, specialising in the Mechanical Engineering for Water Treatment Systems.
• Contract and budget management experience.
• Demonstrated practical on-site experience.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
• High level communication and organisational skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
• Flexibility to work site hours, travel and a valid driver's licence.
