Tasks and Duties will include but are not limited to
Our Quantity Surveyor will estimate and monitor construction costs for bridges, precast, roads, power, and other structures; The Quantity Surveyor will work from tender preparation to the construction period and beyond, the feasibility stage.
· Will be responsible for:
Specifying construction methods, materials and quality standards, Drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures Analysing drawings and specifications to estimate total costs; Creating precise estimates, including pricing of all necessary items and labour considerations for work/contract execution Following up on project development aiming at budget adjustment. Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents, Quantity take-offs, Interpreting tender documents and customer contracts. Describing designs and specifications to foster pricing Communication and relationship building, including submission follow-up. Estimating the additional costs of design variations.
