Essential skills for the role are: • At least 3-5 years of experience with cloud/data design & engineering or data analysis. • Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Microservices. • Experience with hybrid cloud, on-premises virtualisation • Experience using data modelling and handling techniques such as Schema driven modelling • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Data Bricks and/or Snowflake • Understanding of ETL tools such as Glue, Data Factory, and Data Modelling
• Knowledge/experience with SQL, Python, PySpark or Java • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements from conceptual to physical models • Ability to work in highly collaborative Agile teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
