Job tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for managing all stages of a project’s design from initial concept, award of contract, detailed design, construction and commissioning onsite.
Oversee and coordinate all engineering and design aspects of the project and work with designers as well as the construction team to ensure designs are produced accurately, on time and within budget.
Take a lead role in problem solving and find innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges during construction.
Identify risks, opportunities, and cost savings during the design phase of the project.
To be successful in this role, you will need
Tertiary qualification in civil engineering preferred.
Prior contracting experience in the civil construction industry, with particular focus on water infrastructure projects.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
