The Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the ICT industry as a Computer network and Systems Engineer capacity
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in system integration specifically around networking and virtualisation technologies mainly switching and routing
Experience working with VMware and Hyper-V is a requirement
Exposure to and experience using data analytics algorithm with backup solutions such as Commvault and Veeam
Minimum 5 years experience to develop scripting to automate procedures and data collection for Networking and Computer hardware and software utilising REST API and market system plugins
Intermediate computer skills – predominantly in Windows XP/7, cloud software, working knowledge of database systems (SQL, Oracle), also backup and recovery databases and MS Office
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
