Applicants without direct experience in project management, construction or food and beverage service will be considered. Applicant will be hired based on their ability to achieve outcomes and solve problems. This role could be a great stepping stone into the construction and project management industry or a great step up for someone who would like to learn and thrive.
There is a succession plan for this role which may lead to full time or/and promotion after this contract period. This is dependent on workload and contracts won.
Primary Purpose Reporting to the Project Manager of Australia, The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager to manage the end-to-end fit out, upgrading and refurbishment of F&B, catering and retail outlets in Australia from concept design through to completion. Relationships

Position Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities
Closely work with the Project Manager regarding all aspects of project strategy, planning development and implementation.
Support in project cycles starting from initial site visit, due diligence, design & drawings, tendering management, cost control, timing & progress monitoring, quality control, internal & external compliance, until the issuance of Closing Notice.
Support Project Manager to ensure the production of drawings, budgets and programs are delivered to the Project Owner at various stages of the project in conjunction with external designers and consultants.
Support in the implementation and compliance with all in-house project management systems, procedures and project reporting.
Work closely with external consultants and designers to ensure timely and cost effectively implementation of various projects.
Develop relationships with external suppliers and maintain a supplier list for quick order and replacement items
Manage documentation in an efficient way and ensure meeting minutes and action item lists are maintained accurately.
Support in the research of sourcing product availability and cost management.
Assist in / manage other projects in the region as assigned.
