Required residence status: Temporary visa, Permanent resident, Citizen

What you’ll do: Be responsible for the quality of code you build and release. Engaging with the engineering group in code reviews, planning, design and technical discussions. Designing APIs and systems that can cope with huge scale and evolving product requirements. Contributing to the development of a single page web application using Angular. Solve challenging engineering and consumer problems pragmatically, elegantly and simply. Experimenting with new technologies! We're always open to solving problems utilising the correct technologies. What you’ll bring: Passionate about all things engineering. In-depth knowledge in Software Engineering, Design Patterns and Agile Software Development. Highly efficient in multiple programming languages such as Node and Java. Experience of building restful APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger. Experience with cloud-based development in AWS. Experience using a variety of databases including Aurora(PostgreSQL) and DynamoDB. A deep understanding of what it takes to build scalable platforms using techniques around eventual consistency, caching and monitoring. Experience with building microservices. Experience working with React or Angular and developing frontend applications. An understanding of CI/CD pipelines and techniques.
