A relevant Engineering degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including formwork systems is required for the position. As part of the role, you will:
• Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards
• Preparing sketches and drawings for formwork and ensuring designs comply with the structural and architectural plans
• Monitor changes to drafting and interpreting specifications, construction methods and procedures
• Assist with budgeting and planning of projects
• Assist procurement of site labour and materials required
• Manage projects to meet deadline and budget
• Liaise with stakeholders and the project team, to ensure effective communication and key deadlines, policies, procedures and safety requirements are met
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years experience with a head contractor in Formwork
• Tertiary qualified in building/ construction field.
• Good computer and correspondence skills.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• You will require knowledge of AutoCAD and or PlanSwift
• Attention to detail
• Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills is a must, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
