Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen

Accept remote work: Accept during COVID-19 restrictions only

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: Initially focusing on: Assisting with Accounts Receivable function Assisting with Accounts Payable function And expanding to include: Preparing Daily Bank Reconciliations and providing for daily cash outflows. Coding credit cards monthly Assist with preparation and posting of monthly standard journals Assisting with preparation of monthly Management reports Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation and lodgement of monthly Payroll Tax for all states Assisting with interim and year end audit Assisting with preparation of Monthly/Yearly budgets Assisting with annual Payroll Tax reconciliations Assisting with annual Fringe Benefit Tax preparation Other adhoc tasks and projects as required. To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience: While not mandatory, experience working within a medium sized organisation working across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or as an Assistant Accountant would be viewed positively. To be considered for this role you will have completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The drive and ambition to progress your career Team player and have the ability to work autonomously and see a task to completion Excellent organisation and time-management skills Processing accuracy and attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills Disciplined work ethic Competent in the use of computer applications Strong Microsoft Excel skills What is on the offer: Full time position, classified as Award Free. Great team environment Financial and mentor support for CA or CPA programs Remuneration package on offer is between $65k-$80k, commensurate to skills and experience
