We build services using Typescript and javascript running on Node.JS, as well as database technologies such as Redis, Postgres and NoSQL We create and support reliable and scalable cloud-based systems on Amazon Web Services We use Git and GitHub for version control
Responsibilities: You’ll be responsible, together with the tech team, for keeping our systems up and running 24/7. You’ll be a key person, to help implement and roll-out CI/CD pipelines, build self-service tooling, improve processes and infrastructure to support developers across all teams You’ll work with the team to define and implement our operations procedures and best practices for our customer-facing systems You’ll be the champion of system monitoring and alerting best practices You’ll effectively investigate, resolve and mitigate service-impacting events
You’re perfect for this role if Expert-level experience with AWS Strong understanding of Infrastructure as code tools (ideally Terraform, but experience with similar tools like Cloudformation will also be considered) Strong understanding of Kubernetes/containerization Experience with automating development/deployment processes Good understanding of microservices Familiarity with common web technologies (i.e typescript, REST, graphql)
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills): Industry experience working with complex applications, high user volume a plus Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack & Intercom
