Role
• Design, develop and test solutions for a disruptor in the logistic industry. • Recognising technological constraints, shortcomings, and related processes, techniques, and approaches in current systems • Implementing distributed and highly available enterprise applications that scale for enterprise requirements across multi regions. • Ensure programmes and applications meet specifications by testing, debugging, diagnosing, and fixing problems • Working collaboratively in a cross functional and off-site teams in an agile delivery environment. • Creating and maintaining platform code to satisfy system specifications, system designs, and technical requirements in compliance with quality-accredited standards • Developing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, end-user guides, and operational processes • Being involved in the full life cycle of projects and product deployments from requirements, development, QA, deployment to production support.
What you will bring: • 5 years’ experience in backend application development using Java • High level of intellectual curiosity • Previous experience with AWS products such as: API Gateway, Cognito, Aurora Postgres, Fargate, SNS, SQS, Cloudfront, ECR • Demonstrable experience of building highly available and secure services in AWS • Experience with shell scripting, Python, and javascript • Experience with Unit Tests, BDDs • Experience with Spunk or other monitoring tools • Passionate and able to work in a team environment • Self starter and ambitious • Worked in agile teams with focus on quality and continuous improvement • Tertiary or other relevant qualifications are desirable
