As the Harvesting and Roading Manager, you will lead a developing team and work collaboratively with employees and external stakeholders to drive innovative solutions that will unlock new value. This leadership position forms part of the Marketing and Operations team, based in Mount Gambier, where it will hold an influencing role that will call on skills and experience to:
Develop a team of staff and contractors to safely deliver against todays objectives and tomorrows challenges,
Work across the forest to customer supply chain,
Design and develop supplier contracts, procure high performing suppliers, and administer contracts,
Construct relationships founded on goodwill, cooperation, and collaboration and
Proactively engage with industry training institutions, contractors, and our customers.
Improving capability, building resilience into business processes, and enabling innovation will be at this roles core. You will champion log optimisation technologies and forest value recovery. Technically strong, you will bring proven expertise in:
People leadership to build, manage and develop a growing team
Develop, negotiate and manage strong contractor partnerships
Fiscal competency, assuming responsibility for one of the organisations more significant spends
Focus on value recovery/optimisation, all through a quality lens
