Due to our ongoing growth and success, an exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Construction Administrator to join the Construction team, in a fast paced, dynamic and integral role within our Adelaide based head office.
To be successful in this role, you will :
Have property, building and construction industry experience.
Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
Proactively manage customer expectations by ensuring clients are regularly updated of the status of their home during the building and warranty processes.
Have completed or are working towards completing relevant Australian tertiary qualifications in the construction industry with either construction administration, construction management or project management qualifications. A certificate IV in construction will be highly regarded.
Be capable of effectively communicating and maintaining the professional link between clients and site personnel to ensure prompt resolution of construction issues.
Maintain customer files with relevant contract, variations and other required documentation.
Be capable of maintaining construction workflow, completing tasks as they arise in a timely manner.
Provide all relevant documentation including compliance certificates to nominated Building Inspectors.
Maintain and constantly develop a thorough knowledge of products, services and processes in order to confidently interact with clients.
Possess outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written skills (fluency in English speaking and writing is essential).
Be proactive, energetic and self-motivated with a willingness to continually learn and develop your skills – you must have a proven ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Possess excellent organisational, time management and planning skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow tasks efficiently.
Have high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Be competent in reading and interpreting plans, with the ability to problem solve construction issues.
Have an excellent understanding of residential construction processes and terminology.
Have a minimum of 1 year experience within a Project Administrator / Construction Administrator role, or similar.
Be resilient with an outstanding ability to perform well under the pressure of time constraints.
Be results driven with a positive "can do" attitude and a friendly, helpful demeanour.
