To assist the Head Chef in all aspects of the business. To lead by example and ensure all procedures (Health and Safety, Food Handling, Hotel policies) are maintained to the required standard and are being followed by all kitchen members. • Manage and deliver the production needs of the kitchen section to the required standard. • Report all important issues to the Head chef. • Communicate effectively, both with the team and with management. Manage time through effective planning to maintain a high level of productivity. • Motivate team members through positive behavior. Utilize coaching skills and demonstrate the development of other team members. • Participate in the development of creative dishes for the menu. • Participate in the organization of order, cost control, and waste management of food. • Support decisions made and adapt to changes, showing flexibility and enthusiasm. • Proactive in self-development.
