Specifically you will have a minimum 2 years, demonstrable:
· Experience managing public cloud infrastructure
· Experience across a wide range of ICT activities encompassing networking, database administration, virtualisation, Windows administration, Linux administration and operational support
· Experience with software patching
· Experience with backup and recovery
· Experience with monitoring and alerting along with troubleshooting in a corporate IT environment.
· Exposure to system hardening and security baseline standards.
· Knowledge and experience with Azure cloud services and VDI
· Understanding of DevOps principles using CI/CD build, test pipelines and familiarity with IaaC (Infrastructure-as-code) tools.
· Ability to adopt multiple viewpoints – application, database, security, infrastructure and monitoring
In addition to your technical skills, your ability to communicate with key stakeholders is paramount. This will include building a strong working relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
This position will require 2nd and 3rd level support both during and outside of standard business hours as required.
Preferably you will also have experience in a regulated environment such as financial services.
