Due to our exceptional growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Interior Designer / Admin Assistant to assist us in delivering on our client's expectations and dreams.
The Interior Designer / Admin Assistant reports directly to the CEO and will play an integral part in the creative and effective delivery for each project. On top of this, the role will be responsible for the administrative function that keeps the day to day running. The role will work closely with the Operations Manager and Designer to ensure all KPI’s of the projects are being met.
Your new role:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Design
Skilled in translating client's objectives and expectations into a visual representation.
Be creative coming up with solutions for residential spaces, within project resources.
Be able to specify local material (renovation & furnishing related) and be able to select according to price range
Utilize design software efficiently to put together mood boards (including material selection / FFE schedule), 2D & 3D Drawings, etc.
Work with builders/trades to formulate design & cost ratios
Capable of working to deadlines delivering quality work.
Work closely with the team and be comfortable presenting to clients
Admin
Issue and send invoices when needed in XERO
Organise material samples, and maintain studio
Be accountable to order branded material & gifts for clients / partners
Management of filing system on Onedrive
Up keep the marketing content creation for website & social media
To be successful in the role you will ideally have the following experience:
Qualifications in Interior Design / Architecture from an Australian accredited institution.
A minimum of 1 years of experience being an interior designer/ junior architect in Melbourne.
Has Driver’s License & owns a car to drive where required in Melbourne Metro area
Experience in furnishing and decoration is preferable
Proficient and efficient in Microsoft Office suite, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Revit, Indesign, Photoshop.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders
Eagerness to learn & grow, and have problem-solving skills
