Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform data profiling and Data domain discovery on the source data to understand the business metadata
Understanding the match rules and perform auto-match to prepare the match reports
Tweaking match rules, performing fuzzy match on the source data to improve the match percentage with business approval
Developing Data Quality flows to push the source data into MDM BO tables to master the data
Building the Manual Match framework to perform manual match with the help of Data Stewards
Creating outbound flows to push the data into downstream for CIM consumption
Automation of the flows using inbuilt Informatica scheduler and Unix scripting Work closely with customers to understand the requirements, match rules to master the equipment/component data
Data analysis and advance profiling to have an understanding on the source data
Design and build the Data Quality ingestion process which is the foundation for MDM Work with various on-prem and cloud-based data platforms, technologies and services Developing the downstream flow to push the data for CIM consumption Delivering the code keeping in mind the best practices to enhance job performance End to end automation of the Data Quality process and MDM job invocation for real time data processing for both inbound and outbound processes
7 years of experience across various ETL tools: IBM Datastage, Informatica Powercenter and Informatica Developer ·
4 years of experience in Data Quality Engineering, Data Domain Discovery and Data Profiling
Exposure across various structured and unstructured databases- MSSQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, Netezza, HIVE, Snowflake ·
Working knowledge of Master Data Management process (Informatica MDM) and also on Reporting (Cognos) and Data Visualization (Tableau) tools ·
