Essential duties and responsibilities will include: • Acquire a deep understanding of production dependencies and data flow • Monitor and ensure the stability of these processes • Triage and troubleshoot problems that may occur • Improve our ability to detect and prevent problems • Expansion and Administration of continuous integration systems [Jenkins] • Maintain a very large physically in-house super-computer system [10K CPU Cores, Linux, Vast, HTCondor] Become subject matter expert for our testing, data generation and physical trading processes • Architect server and network infrastructure for collocated low-latency trading • Improve and expand our systems automation • Develop your build engineering and tool change management skills • Develop Ultra-Low-Latency Performance monitoring and improve current tools and practices What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in technical or related discipline • Deep understanding of how a Linux platform functions • Knowledge of Python • Knowledge of a compiled C-family language (preferably C ) • Automation and scripting knowledge • Knowledge of networking protocols, including TPC and UDP multicast • Knowledge of network switches and their configuration
