Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen

Accept remote work: Accept during COVID-19 restrictions only

The role is also responsible for: Prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans including modelling and reviewing for reasonableness against actuals and previous forecasts Prepare and post journals ensuring appropriate accounting treatment is applied Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations Contribute towards analysis of year-end results and external market & investor presentations Liaise with and provide information to internal and external auditors to support their audit processes Provide decision support including financial modelling and analysis for new opportunities, investments, and cost management Work closely with Group Financial Reporting to assess impacts of new accounting standards Continuous review of business processes, systems and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy challenging the status quo and you are outcome orientated. Have a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement. You will also have or can demonstrate: Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce or economics with more than two years' experience in an accounting/finance function Professional qualification with the Society of Certified Practicing Accountants or Chartered Accountants Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with experience in data analysis and process analysis Intermediate to advanced level skills in Excel Solid technical accounting knowledge with the ability to question and interpret results Understanding of management reporting tools, concepts and methodology Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
