We are seeking Contract Administrator
Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our Sydney construction team. This person must possess previous experience in HIA Contract Management and Tender Creation.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Preparing and finalising HIA Building Contracts and Tender
Interpreting construction documentation and specifications
Prepare variations, and extension of time claims
HIA Building Contract and Tender presentation to client
Drafting and negotiating contracts that are legally binding between both parties
Undertaking contract analysis and providing advice to the business
Drafting and revising contracts, which may include preparing documents for tender, negotiation of legal agreements with customers or suppliers and undertaking research on topics relevant to the industry
Monitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts
Organising and managing project stakeholder meetings and minutes
Ongoing and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders including clients, architects, subcontractors, consultants, and team members
To be successful you will need:
At least 2 years of proven experience with a strong background in residential building or similar projects
Experience with HIA agreements and specifications
Experience in preparing EOTs and Variation claims in accordance with the relevant contract
Understanding of Architect Plans, scope of works and nature of jobs
Cost estimating skills, experience and knowledge of project
Proven experience in subcontractor packaging and quote analysis and procurement
Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, Project Manager and other Stakeholders
Highly motivated with a desire to learn and progress into more senior roles
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Highly effective in organising and problem-solving is a must.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Hold verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
