About the role This role is located in our Perth office. The successful candidate will lead a small team of test analysts. This team is responsible for testing new functionality and ensuring the quality of new releases rolled out to the production environment. Key Role Responsibilities are: • Work with the Software Development Group to ensure testing processes are aligned with development tools and processes • Provide guidance to team members to encourage work productivity • Ensure release testing activities are aligned with the product release schedule • Write Test Plans • Develop and maintain relevant test strategies based on test objectives • Develop and maintain automated tests where appropriate • Execute test strategies and report results • Develop and maintain appropriate regression tests
Requirements: • Passionate about testing • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is required • Excellent English both verbal and written communications • Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing/development • Experience in testing hosted SaaS systems across multiple browsers and platforms • Experience testing AWS based solutions and familiar with EC2, S3 and CloudFormation templates and stacks • Comfortable using AWS to run test infrastructure. • Experience in API testing (REST and SOAP) • Experience using Microsoft Windows Server and Windows scripting, including MS batch, PowerShell and Python • Experience using Ubuntu Server and Linux scripting, including bash and python. • Experience testing Database applications including working knowledge of SQL (Query, Stored Procedures) • Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and testing strategies for report testing • Experience with testing frameworks including Selenium and JMeter Desirable: • Knowledge of Complex Event Processing • Exposure to the and understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) • Knowledge of Indji Watch service If you have the necessary skill set and wish to join our team, we would like to hear from you.
