As a Software Engineer you will support end to end SIT for Future state and work across varied and exciting projects in diverse cross functional teams.
About the opportunity You will be part of a continuous delivery team, working on Agile projects. You should be comfortable working alongside our technical Lead Developers and Business Analysts. You should be able to take ownership of the QA activities and represent the team in company wide testing initiatives. The role also involves automating all the tests wherever possible.
Based in Melbourne CBD Full time permanent position Annual Salary: AUD 105,000 + Super
The successful candidate will have the following: Experienced in testing Agile projects Hands on Experience in setting up automation frameworks. Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated tests Experience in Automation tools like CucumberJS or any other Javascript based tools Experience in Mobile Automation framework and setup according to best practices Knowledge in Selenium is preferred Experience in API testing using POSTMAN Expertise in Jira, Zephyr & Confluence Good understanding of DevOps processes Working closely with stakeholders, multiple vendors, BAs, developers & the UX/UI Design teams Strong communication skills , able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to meet tight deadlines and context switch Strong team player Passionate about all things digital and highly motivated with a willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and knowledgeable in industry standard QA practices.
Skills and experience: Strong communication skills. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. Keen interest in Agile and collaboration Telecom domain knowledge preferrable A passion for troubleshooting and improving current processes and standards Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and an ability to work under pressure. Demonstrated capacity for analytical and conceptual thought in the diagnosis of problems and in providing innovative and practical solutions
