Your new role
AFMA is seeking a suitably qualified individual to fill the role of EL 2 Enterprise Architect within the Corporate Services Branch, located in our Canberra office.
The Enterprise Architect is a senior technical role within the Technology and Digital Services team with the primary role of ensuring that AFMA's corporate objectives are being met by utilising an approved technology systems architecture.
Internally to the ICT team, the position will ensure the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the agency ICT Strategy and Data objectives. The key duties of the position include:
Contributing to the agency's data initiatives, by working with key data stewards in clearly defining how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the position will lead in the development of a strategy and subsequent delivery of key agency reporting, leveraging metrics to further drive business performance and evidence-based decision making.
Also noting that AFMA has a small internal ICT Team, and therefore there will be times when the position may be required to function as a solution architect, and design and develop technical solutions to support AFMA's operations.
