Key accountabilities for the role include:
ICT Commercial Management
Transition and implementation of ICT contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
Provide management of ICT operational and project procurement activities.
Provide subject matter expert level advice for ICT related contracts and associated agreements
Lead and participate in procurement activities
Lead, manage and participate in tenders, requests for quotes, market scans, etc
Develop and Manage the ICT procurement process and the ICT procurement staff
Financial modelling, roadmaps and testing of assumptions to support business case scenarios and analysi
Financial Management
Manage the develop annual and 3 year budget strategies for ICT, by identifying opportunities for expenditure containment and revenue generation, and translating these into strategies and practices for dissemination and adoption throughout ICT.
Provide management of ICT operational and project budgets.
Information Management
Produce routine reports which correlate financial expenditure and FTE with activity
Work closely with the Directorate of ICT, so that ICT will manage ICT financial performance.
Strategic Planning
Assist in the development of corporate, business and other strategic plans for the Local Hospital District and ICT.
Develop key performance indicators for the management of resources and financial management within ICT.
Facilitate ICT initiatives that maximise resource utilization and revenue generation including salary packaging
