Your impact
The position will report to the Engineering Manager and will be a member of a squad developing functionality for our software products. The role will involve working very closely with Product Managers, Testers and external third parties for integration/connections. • Core/ASP.NET Core, .Net 6.0, C#, SQL Server, Web API, AWS, and microservices. • Participate in an energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule • Adhering to the firm’s Information Security standards, policies and procedures • Assisting in design and analysis of application programs
Your key responsibilities
• Software Development: With our Product team and Product Owners, design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences. • Scale Design & Planning: Analyse information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system. • Solutions Planning: Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements. • Modification: Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. • Testing: Direct system testing and validation procedures. • Documentation: Direct software programming and documentation development. • Stakeholder Management: Consult with departments or customers on project status and proposals. • Relationship Management: Work with customers or departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance. • Reporting: Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status. • Agile & Project Management: Confer with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent employment experience • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a developer or software engineer • Experience working with agile methodologies • Experience in a start-up / scale up experience desirable (not essential)
