As ICT Support and Test Engineer, you will be in reporting directly to management. You will be a highly organised, capable of undertaking office, product and travel management, as well as support the Executive Team. You will be an experienced professional working together with a very passionate and well versed team to achieve amazing results.
About your responsibilities:
Oversee the daily performance of system, mobile app features, web portal and hardware functionalities for reviews and recommendations.
Respond to user inquiries regarding software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
Set up and configure equipment/products for clients.
Troubleshoot, Install, and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, peripheral equipment, following design and installation specifications.
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken from installation activities for compliance and evaluation purposes.
Read technical and product manuals, confer with users, conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors for service or replacements
Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.
Respond to user inquiries regarding software and hardware operation by troubleshooting, testing, and repairing spare parts to resolve technical problems.
Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
Modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs, performing and ensuring proper installation of parts, firmwares, and appropriate softwares.
Communicate with suppliers to main product stocks by forecasting and delivering orders to customers on time.
Assist in generating leads.
Provides level 2 technical troubleshooting service to clients and onsite service repair.
Test and maintain computers, real-time tracking devices, printers, network gateways, and servers.
