Position Summary:
Understand the project scope, identify activities/ tasks, task level estimates, schedule, dependencies, risks and provide inputs to Module Lead for review. Analyze functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements. Prepare the LLD/ detailed design documents based on HLD and briefing from Module Lead. Follow coding standards and best practices to develop code and check code quality. Develop unit test case for each module. Provide feedback on Developers form technical /domain standpoint to the module lead.
Mandatory Skills:
Good exposure to master data management (MDM): 8-10 Years (Required) Prefer exposure in Microsoft Azure. Must have deep knowledge in Microsoft BI technologies including MDX, SSAS, SSIS, TSQL: 8-10 Years (Required) Experience in SQL server and Oracle. Experience in Microsoft Power BI or other BI tools. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS is a must (min 8 years) Previous experience in Data Analysis / Data Profiling would be highly regarded Extensive experience in writing complex SQL (scripts and procedures) Previous exposure in data migrations is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems Hands-on with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI & CD)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and gather requirements from client. Direct communication with client. Data warehouse and ETL development with implementation. Implement tabular model, dimension model. Build and deploy the solution in SQL Server Managed Instance and Azure. Define and develop optimal ways to extract, transform and load data using Microsoft SSIS. Design, develop, test and execute SSIS ETL data migration jobs. Version control, packaging and deployment of SSIS ETL code. Resolve defects and technical issues. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to coding standards based on best practices Experience of working in a large-scale program, data warehouse and ETL development & implementation experience. Familiar with Azure cloud public sector Support the design and development of back-end data model. Familiar with most of the databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle Excellent knowledge of fundamental IT concepts, systems, platforms, tools and technologies, programming methodology, hardware, software and services Experience in Technology, building and supporting mission critical systems and applications, with a high degree of process automation and integration Experience in Data Modelling and Data Integration experience; design, development and operational support of Data Warehouse Systems (Data Modeler) Demonstrated experience delivering data warehouses, including Data Vault and Data Mart structures on complex BI projects. Demonstrated experience writing queries using SQL and implementing complex logic in stored procedures Strong SQL and data manipulation skills Strong data analysis skills and experience validating reports and back-end data Good Knowledge and development experience with Microsoft SQL BI Stack, Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI Knowledge of PaaS/iPaaS technologies for databases, preferably with an exposure to Azure SQL Server Database and/or Snowflake Certification in Power BI Practical knowledge of C# (.NET)
