What You will Be Doing: • With 8+ years’ experience, you will provide specialised programming skills, lead researching, consulting, analysing, and evaluating system program needs. • Providing Leadership and Knowledge transfer to a programming team. • Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods. • Interacting and maintaining good relationships with business stakeholders (business users, project management resources, testing and training teams) • To ensure appropriate use of tools and applications that is in place to support the development process and SDLC. • Writing and maintaining specialised program code to meet system designs and technical specifications. • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting. • To engage in technical scoping sessions with a clear mandate of defining and agreeing the technology, design & tools • Responsible for producing working implementation (code) from functional / technical documents like a functional specification. • Database administration & manipulation to create PostgreSQL / SQL statement, etc. • Demonstration of knowledge of best practice and project standards for coding • Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary. • Support and develop Java developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities. • Provide specialist consultation to business units and IT management at the highest technical level on all phases of IoT platforms, computing environments. • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective development and/or IoT solution.
Experience with the below is advantageous. • SAP Business, integration capabilities • Worked with fuel management tools and integration to mobile devices. • RFID asset tags and asset management systems • Designing application flow in Figma or Adobe XD and developing software to meet requirements. • Familiarity with the AWS and Azure platforms (services supporting ingestion and onboarding of devices) • Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery with Agile/SAFe methodologies • Unit / Integration Testing • Familiarity with embedded or real-time operating systems, and/or driver/kernel development
Education, skills, and experience required for this role:
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience .NET framework, MS SQL Server and Databases, C#, ASP.NET and Webservices • Ideally having experience with NO SQL, PostGre SQL, MobileFrame, Java, Node JS • Having a methodical and thorough approach to developing with an eye for detail • Have a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle • Proven documentation skills • Excellent communication skills (written, presentation and verbal) • Strong record keeping skills up to date. • No Agencies please, we will not accept unsolicited CV or Resumes.
