A new and exciting position has become available for an ICT Security Specialist for an immediate start.
A successful candidate will have at least a bachelor degree in a relevant field with 3 years of relevant experience or will have 5 years of relevant experience.
This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Incident Response service and penetration testing by providing technical leadership and guidance to the Defensive and Offensive Security Consultant team. Further, this position is responsible for collaborating with colleagues throughout the business to provide expert technical advice, evaluate work processes and implement changes to streamline operations.
Success will be measured by:
Increasing customer satisfaction measured through customer feedback; Leading team activities, projects, discussion and growth; Quality report writing, client communication and peer review; Currency with information security trends and penetration testing techniques; Delivering business level security assessments for customers.
Key responsibilities
Penetration Testing:
Performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls. Testing database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging and resolving all identified problems, according to approved quality testing scripts, procedures and processes. Accepting responsibility for the processes, procedures and operational management associated with system security and disaster recovery planning. Working with Sales, support presales with client proposals: advising solutions to meet client requirements. Liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources; analysing, recommending, installing and maintaining software security applications; and monitoring contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements Working with the COO to manage the team. Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs.
