What you will do:
Working alongside the Business Intelligence Manager and other Data Analysts, you’ll be responsible for preparing reports and dashboards which would aid the overall risk management of the business and at the same time provide research, analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives.
Working as part of a wider team, you’ll also work closely with other departments within the business should they require analysis on certain aspects of the product which could cover anything from recognizing pain points, tracking certain metrics, identifying trends, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Gathering, extracting and manipulating raw data from multiple databases to transform it into reporting solutions and insights, enabling informed decision making to drive improved business performance across a broad range of business units Providing regular reports to internal stakeholders Design, development, review and update of custom reports. Responding to requests for information by summarising and analysing internal and external data sources Work collaboratively with the fraud team to support complex fraud investigations and to respond to rapidly evolving threats and implement rule-based analytical solutions Translate fraud use cases and quantify the fraud risk using a data driven approach
Medium to advanced MS Excel skills Knowledge of any database and reporting software (preferably Tableau) Knowledge of Python,R, SQL Knowledge of Data Warehouse. Strong problem solving skills Advanced data analysis skills Strong communication skills High level of numeracy Superb attention to detail Ability to prioritise and multi-task The ability to work within a team environment or independently
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
Fraud or Risk Experience. Knowledge of Sports and/or Casino terminology. Responsible Gaming experience. Proficient with Google suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom Australian work rights preferred.
