PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Think of an e-ticket as a contract across all the stages of your trip: from Ticket creation through boarding and flying... If you change plans, face difficult climatic conditions (or get kicked off the plane ...), refunds or exchanges can also be performed. Behind the scenes, the control of your ticket is circulating between different airlines systems and financial transactions are taking place. Amadeus airline customers have a complex system to orchestrate all these transactions: the Amadeus Ticketing Server! Joining Amadeus, you will be working on this mission-critical system, designing innovative solutions for our airline customers. We are a dynamic team mixing Business Analysts, Software Engineers and DevOps and collaborating with an Agile mindset. You will be part of a truly multicultural group and interact with colleagues all around the globe. Contribute to the platform's evolution and stability thanks to your testing and validation skills. You will also have the opportunity to create and develop new features for our customers and help them face the industry challenges such as Cloud-based services and data privacy and security. Main Responsibilities: --> Product expertise Participate in building a vision for the product Anticipate future needs and identify risks and opportunities Build and maintain end to end knowledge of our products and their usage Build a relationship with the different stakeholders, including the Ticketing teams in Bangalore and Nice. Take part in feasibility studies and sizing exercises --> Product increment Clarify requirements with customers and the team Build/influence solutions, balancing quality/value and our constraints. Negotiate scope/dates with stakeholders, including customers Interface with relevant departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus packages and ensure functional compatibility. Write/review specifications and APIs Validate deliveries --> Project support Provide support on our features (to other teams, PMs, customer, implementation) Analyze issues on existing product reported by customers Relevant Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or 3 to 5+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skilled and experienced in managing high-tech hardware/software systems. Experience in software development life cycles Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sound time and resource management skills Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
