Key Responsibilities
• Work with senior members of the team to examine and translate business requirements into customised solutions using the Force.com platform • Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best-practices and perform peer code reviews to ensure the same • Participate in development workstreams, from design and software development through to testing and deployment • Maintain effective team and client relationships, delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks • Work with other developers and the broader management consulting team to ensure the build meets business requirements and performance goals • Adhere to best practice coding standards including use of design patterns and working in with DevOps model • Follow secure coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding errors and vulnerabilities • Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing • Document the application to facilitate maintenance • Participate in ‘Go-Live’ support and testing activities • Be involved in technical trouble shooting for Managed Services clients, as needed Professional Skill
Required Qualifications • Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Computer Science • Certifications: o A current Salesforce Platform Developer 1 or 2 certification is a must o One or more other Salesforce certifications (e.g. System Administrator, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Sales or Service Cloud) is highly preferred • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices using Apex, Lightning Web Components and flows is critical • Experience in building Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud products are required. Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), Public Sector Solutions and Marketing Cloud would be advantageous • Passionate about the Salesforce platform including awareness of the latest Salesforce innovation and building demo orgs to showcase the latest Salesforce product innovations • Software engineering experience with common JavaScript frameworks (Angular JS, React, etc.) and DevOps is a bonus
Required Experience • Excellent communication skills and client facing experience are essential • Demonstrated experience of highly complex technical designs and development working to high quality in an unsupervised capacity and providing technical leadership to more junior developers • 5+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform • 3+ years experience with customisation on the Salesforce Lightning platform, including Lightning Web Components and Apex development • Experience in working in agile software development and Scrum environments • Experience in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline configurations is highly preferable • Any integration experience is a bonus
