About the role We are looking for an ICT Customer Support Officer to join our IT team. Reporting into the IT Manager, this role will be responsible for providing excellent customer and technical on-site service to the SA office in an efficient, personal, and professional manner. You will be responsible for: *Managing Level 2 IT Help Desk queries *Responding to IT tickets in a professional and prompt manner *Prioritising tasks and allocating to relevant IT technical resource *Administering IT systems and users *Configuring & troubleshooting PCs/laptops & peripherals *Managing asset assignments and provide necessary training to the staff
The successful candidate will possess *At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar positions. *Relevant tertiary qualification. *Proven experience with providing technical support to Office 365, Windows OS, Servers, Active Directory, and MS Office, as well as other applications. *Strong customer/client focus with excellent communication skills *High level organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities *Effective problem-solving skills *Ability to work as part of a team *Experience in a high-volume service desk environment is advantageous
