Job Description: Multimedia Specialist The job to be filled is that of Multimedia Specialist. Day to day tasks associated with the role will include:
Communicating with the clients to understand their requirements
Recommending clients about what can be feasible technically and what will be an effective solution of their requirements
Working in collaboration with animators web designers, programmers and video producers, supervising the designing team and guiding them as required
Collaborating with network specialists regarding that network related issues with websites such as data integrity, data security, web hosting, user access, space allocation, backup and recovery
Testing the multimedia products for any technical errors and making appropriate changes
Using different Computer-aided design packages such as Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator etc), Cinema 4D, Flash Player, and Apple Final Cut Pro etc
Authoring the files in one program using programming languages like C++ and Java
Presenting the final designs to the client and getting their approval
Providing assistance in specifying and designing internet strategies and web-based methods
Working in coordination with a multimedia team comprising of a project manager, interface designer, video specialist, multimedia programmer, multimedia producer and audio specialist as well as working as an individualised entity depending upon the needs of the organisation.
