THE ROLE
A Zero Harm ICT Business & Systems Analyst works with users to formulate system requirements, develop system plans and documentation, review and evaluate existing systems, and design and modify systems to meet users' business needs.
Success of the position will be measured in terms of the quality and timeliness of technical advice and support, successful implementation of the Zero Harm Strategy, proactive initiatives to address Zero Harm issues or competency gaps, and demonstration of key competencies and behaviours expected of the role.
In particular, the position will be required to: • Provide data analytics to Zero Harm leadership team to foster improved safety culture within Downer • Using data to identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices • Taking responsibility for deployment of functional solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans • Provide expert health and safety technical advice, guidance and support to management and staff of Downer contracts across an allocated portfolio • Lead Zero Harm reporting and Zero Harm Management Systems Reporting (INX and Lucidity) for allocated portfolio as required. • Creating user and training documentation and conducting formal training classes for implemented Zero Harm systems. • Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process • Participate in Zero Harm projects to support achievement of Zero Harm Strategy as requested by General Manager of Zero Harm. • Facilitate professional and timely investigation of incidents within business areas utilising ICAM or equivalent methodology. • Assist business areas to understand their Zero Harm risk profile and conduct incident trend analysis as required. • Filter and “cleanse” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems • Support and lead compliance and data & systems auditing processes. • Provide business with measured BI analytics to support continued delivery of safety culture.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 3 years practical experience within a Business Analyst related role
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics (mandatory)
Formal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree qualified in relevant discipline preferred)
Advanced skills and certifications in developing dashboards/reports with SAP Webi, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (mandatory)
Understanding of WHS management systems & ISO 45001 or equivalent standards
Understanding of ITIL Foundations
Understanding and able to use programming languages – Python, R, C#, SQL and Java
Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory (mandatory)
Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology (preferred)
WHSMS and/or EMS Auditor qualifications or accreditations (preferred).
