Key Responsibilities: • Provide support on, security reviews of, new OS, database, middleware, solutions as they are identified for use • Ensure our cloud environments comply with industry standard security benchmarks • Support the regulatory compliance initiatives, processes, and documentation for ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC2, etc… • Develop automation workbooks or process to scale and accelerate the implementation and audit of security configurations, risks, and assessments • Assist, influence and educate the rest of the company on matters of compliance and security • Support the configuration and operation of new cloud security technologies to support business and technology solutions • Assess and understand the company's current security posture and future architecture • Support analysis of cloud cybersecurity platforms, compliance with standards, regulation, and policy, relating to cloud security. • Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for security tools, system environments, and cloud operations • Collaborate with Security Architects, Security Engineers, Platform Leads, and Information Security teams, to operate and maintain cloud security solutions • Work within an outsourced SOC security model so that security is automated and scalable across all cloud platforms • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for security tools, applications, and processes • Work closely with the Security Operations Centre, functional-area engineers, IT Operations, and other security specialists throughout the company to ensure adequate security solutions and controls are in place throughout all IT systems, cloud systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
