This role will be responsible for developing, programming, and configuring systems software to optimize the performance and efficiency of the IT platform and infrastructure for end users and business applications.
Key responsibilities include:
• Liaise with users to conduct requirements gathering, defining scope and objectives for the IT system. • Analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices of various IT systems to identify system behaviours and inefficiencies and recommend improvements, system changes and modifications. • Write diagnostic programs to test integrated software and hardware systems. • Develop programming specifications, diagrams and flowcharts using data for use by other system users. • Analyse modules in Masterpack, design and develop changes to improve the overall business performance • Create user guides, training documentation and conduct formal IT training to end users. • Assist in the daily IT functions including IT hardware support. • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor degree qualification in Information Technology and Information Systems • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst or a similar role with expertise around Masterpack ERP development and maintenance • Proficient in Rocket products specifically UniVerse, UniBasic and SB + • Advanced knowledge as a UV administrator • Knowledge of RESTful webservices • Experience with cloud architecture (e.g. Azure/AWS) (preferred not essential) • Expertise around O365 products (preferred not essential
