The ideal people would have experience with:
Working with startups or within product teams
Designing and working with design systems, or a want to do just this
Helping define strategy and design decisions
Assisting with ethnographic, face-to-face, user research and usability testing
Mentoring less experienced designers within the team
Not being afraid to ask questions to better understand problems
Using modern design tools, Miro, Figma etc
