Key responsibilities of the role will include, but will not be limited to:
• Plan, develop, manage, and implement the quality assurance processes for ensuring high quality of the technical products • Review and analyse requirements, specifications, technical design documents, and provide timely feedback • Develop a plan of action to assess efficiency, validity and functional performance of the computer systems and environments. • Ensure that the relevant levels and types of testing needed to produce quality software (e.g., functional, system, integration, regression, performance, security, accessibility, compatibility, maintainability, etc.) are executed and planned into the delivery lifecycle • Implement above plan of action and make any necessary improvements • Define and build Test automation suites to identify impact of changes on current software products. • Monitor the effectiveness of improvements to ensure they are achieving the desired results. • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases • Prioritize, plan, and execute testing plans and analyse results • Perform periodic audits of the computer systems and software products to assess the efficacy of existing quality processes
Qualifications and experience • Minimum of 6-8 years’ work experience in a similar role is essential. • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial industry • Minimum 3+ years of automation testing • Experience with Temenos Banking Solutions will be highly regarded
Skills and Competencies • Proven track record of successfully implementing QA strategies in core banking, payments, and fund management applications • Excellent knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes • Solid understanding of common frameworks used in the industry • Sound knowledge of data analysis, Excellent SQL skills and working experience with large databases • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Enjoys a variation of tasks and is flexible and adaptive to changing workloads, deadlines, and developments • Implementation of Strategic planning
