The role will be responsible for:
Leading the team in software testing including reviewing requirements, specifications and defining test conditions.Establish the scope of testing.
Managing and communicating the test strategies and test plans.
Recommending levels of test coverage and ensures traceability of test cases to functional requirements.
Designing and executing test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, as well as recording and reporting outcomes.
Collaborating across development teams to ensure the design meets the technical requirements.
Maintaining relevant test artefacts which include test plans, issue registers, defect lists etc.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will bring the following:
Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline together with 5+ years’ experience in software testing.
ISTQB Certification.
Demonstrated capability in Test Process Improvement and Test Processes.
Demonstrated capability in software testing including preparation of test plans, test cases, execution of tests and reporting of defects.
Demonstrated capability in defect management processes and the ability to lead defect management workshops.
Strong MS Office suite skills.
Experience with test management software (e.g., JIRA).
