The purpose of the Pre-Production Environment Re-design project is to deliver a number of key outcomes to support the journey: Develop new solution and technical patterns to support improved productivity, quality, security and time to deliver. Design and deliver necessary organizational change activities to support transition to new solution and operating model. Implement the necessary enterprise ICT changes to allow for the adoption of the new solution and technical patterns. Migrate existing workloads to new solution and technical patterns. The purpose of the Windows Server migration project is to: Ensure that all workloads currently hosted by the department's core enterprise offerings are hosted on vendor supported operating systems, hypervisor and hardware/ IaaS provider (as deemed appropriate). Given the close-knit nature of these two initiatives, this role will support both to ensure that there is a fully connected plan of action to deliver the agreed outcomes.
