Responsibilities
Work with the business to gather their business requirements for all areas of the Bank ensuring consistent and efficient requirements that can be translated into functional specifications reflecting the user’s needs and fit for purpose for the application/processes.
Facilitate workshops and solution review sessions with business stakeholders, and manage feedback loop;
Translate business requirements into functional requirements, and produce all necessary documentation for the delivery of the change, to ensure developers create effective solutions;
Develop and re-engineer procedures and processes as required in support of continuous process improvement using methodologies such as as six sigma.
Provide day-to-day business analyst skills to the business as required, investigating issues, providing information, solving problems;
Liaise with vendors and other third parties involved in the delivery of project components.
Work with the Test Team to ensure suitable test cases are developed
Stakeholder interaction during refinement stage
Identify features for the backlog (sourcing from business requirements, technical debt backlog and bugs)
Refinement of the application backlog - translation of business requirements and user stories into technical user stories to Development ready standards.
Business and system analysis within a PEGA context
Agile software development environment and methods such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, XP, LSD, and FDD
Agile ceremonies, tools, and artefacts e.g. retrospectives, demos, increment planning, information radiators
User story definition and team backlog management
Understanding of PEGA technology to be able to refine business requirements into technical user stories for development in PEGA.
Data modelling and data flows
Skills Must have
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a PEGA Business Analyst
Proven experience in systems analysis, support and/or testing, system changes
Obtained a Certified PEGA Business Architect certification
A customer focus and service orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, competency using document management tooling
Experience in delivering training to business, testers and users
