Your new role
Your portfolio will be Technology Services and Enterprise Systems. You will be able to deliver the objectives of the Delivery Program against agreed service levels and contribute to the strategic direction of council within the Information Technology portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Contemporary knowledge of technology strategy, network and data security, system audits, and business improvement tools and methods.
3. Demonstrated ability to build relationships across an organisation and to plan for and implement effective change initiatives
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively engage in negotiations with venders in relation to system needs, integration and contracts
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage technology projects
6. Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and support staff to achieve work targets and performance objectives.
7. Experience and ability to drive a customer centric culture within service teams and across the organisation
8. Demonstrated ability to inform corporate strategy development and advise on operational planning and service delivery.
9. Current Class C drivers' licence.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
1. Experience in Local Government.
2. Experience with the Technology One system
