Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibilities • Use AutoCAD to prepare detailed structural drawings for residential projects • Liaise with architects, builders and building designers on a variety of residential projects • Revise and update current and new company standards, drawing registers and maintenance of file management systems • Interpret architectural drawings and liaise with in house engineers for design detail specifications Work to company standards and meet project deadlines • Future growth opportunities including involvement in fee proposals and project schedulinga Requirements • Be enrolled in, or prepared to enrol and complete, a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators Certificate III. Course to be completed within two (2) years of commencement of position. • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain within 12 months of appointment. • Forklift certificate of competency desirable. • White Card (Construction Industry) general safety induction course desirable • Trade certificate within the electrical or mechanical field is desirable. • Sound skills in written and verbal communication. • Manual handling, laboratory and field-testing skills. • Computer literacy skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using a • • Microsoft XP operating system is desirable. • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently, including the ability to operate a wastewater treatment plant for short periods without operator intervention. • Ability to read and understand basic mechanical and civil engineering drawings. • Ability to understand and operate treatment plant control (SCADA) Systems. • Knowledge of the operation, maintenance and monitoring of biological wastewater treatment plants including waste activated sludge, biological nutrient removal, membrane or attached film treatment. • Demonstrated experience of at least 12 months duration in municipal wastewater, mining or other process industry requiring the operation of plant and equipment. • Current “C” class driver’s licence.
