Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the construction and maintenance of haul roads and bulk earth works on construction sites.
Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for haul roads and bulk earth works, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Perform site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in site engineering with a focus on haul roads and bulk earth works.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations related to haul roads and bulk earth works on civil and or mining projects.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Experience using engineering software and tools
A strong commitment to health and safety, with a demonstrated ability to identify and manage potential hazards on construction sites.
