Responsibilities:
This Civil Engineer role is responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services to the Water Infrastructure section in the region. This position is based in Perth; however, you will be joining a truly connected Water Solutions business that provides the full suite of consulting services from advisory and engineering through to operations and asset management.
The role will be to work alongside Senior Engineers, providing assistance on projects where required, and further develop an understanding of civil principles.
You will be required to work collaboratively with other team members to deliver goals and targets of the team and attend client meetings where possible to gain an understanding of the relationships that we aspire to maintain.
Requirements:
Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in design of gravity and pressure main distribution pipelines. Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in design of pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, and/or desalination plants. Experience in civil and structural design of earthworks, site drainage, access roads, pipelines, thrust blocks etc. would be essential. Relevant engineering degree and relevant industry chartership or accreditation. Sound market knowledge, the ability to build strong client relationships, and the acumen to identify, bid, win, and deliver water sector projects. Ability and willingness to guide and mentor junior staff for their growth and benefit to our team. Inclusive mindset and ability to collaborate across geographies as part of diverse teams.
