Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components and systems for laser cutting and robotic/MIG welding machines. Optimize the mechanical systems and processes to improve machine efficiency and performance. Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components. Create and modify 3D models and drawings using CAD software. Conduct feasibility studies and research to determine the best mechanical solutions for specific applications. Develop and implement testing and validation procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of mechanical systems. Analyse and interpret data from testing and validation procedures to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the efficient and cost effective production of mechanical components and systems. Provide technical support to customers and field service teams for fabricated components manufactured using Laser and robotic/MIG welding machines. Requirements： Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and components using laser cutting and robotic/MIG welding machines. Proficiency in 3D modelling and CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes. Experience with metal laser cutting and robotic/MIG welding machines, including operational knowledge of laser and robotics, is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with project management and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
