Your responsibilities include:
Discover and propose novel IT systems / solutions to enhance business productivity
Impart knowledge on the operation of IT systems to Executive, Leadership, and management teams
Assure the dependability, safety, and quality of all IT infrastructure and the business services it offers
Create, cultivate, and sustain relationships with important stakeholders and external IT associates.
Overseeing the routine maintenance of; networks, servers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, ERP, and desktops, as well as project-based assignments
Fostering strong relationships with executives and team members, and using influence to encourage senior leaders and facilitate cross-functional cooperation
Assessing the performance of information technology systems to evaluate cost and productivity levels and proposing enhancements to the IT infrastructure.
Collaborating with essential stakeholders across the organisation to create IT solutions that meet business needs
Addressing hardware and software issues through diagnostic analysis
Creating and maintaining an IT disaster management plan that includes a comprehensive risk assessment
Anticipating, recommending, and integrating innovative technologies that enhance company productivity.
Conducting research, devising plans, and supervising the integration of new infrastructure elements into current systems
Developing and promoting the organisation's' technology-based expansion strategies, ensuring that cloud infrastructure and systems are scalable and durable enough to support such plans
Proactively identifying and managing technology and security-related risks and governance
Cultivating relationships with suppliers and establishing cost-effective contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as the Head of Technology, you will have the following skill set:
A degree-qualified IT professional.
5yrs experience in a similar level role.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, server hardware and software, and security systems
Demonstrated ability in developing IT strategy whilst delivering on operational requirements
High-level knowledge and understanding of ICT systems and functions and working knowledge in developing ICT related policies and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
