Job requirements

Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibilities: • Conduct soils and other construction materials testing on site as well as in the laboratory. • Supervise less experienced personnel in their duties. • Assist in maintaining the quality system. • Liaise with clients in understanding testing requirements on civil construction projects. • Understand project specifications, drawings, and other schedules. • Maintain all test equipment in accordance with manufactures and company policies. • Understand and comply with regular site inductions and conducting themselves in a professional and safe manner. • Record relevant details regarding testing locations, materials and other factors that may influence the test data. Requirements: • At least 3 years’ experience in the construction materials testing industry with familiarity of relevant Australian Standards. • Proven expertise to a Diploma Level or higher • Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card), or equivalent. • Driver’s License. • Current, or previous Nuclear Density Gauge radiation worker license. • Willingness to work remotely with reasonable overtime and periodic weekend work.
