The Role
Kogan People Solutions is working with our client who have an excellent opportunity available in their Byron Bay campus for a full-time ICT Customer Support Officer. You will provide face-to-face remote support to their student body located at Bryon bay and if required in remote campuses throughout SE Qld. The role requires the diagnosing and resolution of technical issues and escalation when necessary. These technical issues include both BYOD hardware and software related difficulties.
About you
You will be an experienced ICT professional with a passion for all manner of disparate technologies. You offer a minimum 3 years highly relevant experience working in similar support roles. You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt in a rapidly growing organisation demonstrating outstanding client interaction skills. Microsoft, MacOS, iOS Chrome OS, Android and Linux skills or some exposure to some or all is welcome. Your professional presentation, tact, patience, “keen desire to fix things” are musts.
To be successful you must have:
• 3 or more years' experience working in a customer service driven role.
• ICT Support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid time management skills.
• A willingness to ask for help when required, and delegate or escalate when appropriate.
• Ability to work autonomously as required.
Technical skills:
• Good skills relating to hardware and software setup and troubleshooting.
• Windows devices in a domain environment
• Microsoft Office 365 and other MS technologies experience
• Google workspaces
• All manner of portable devices utilising any of Microsoft, MacOS, iOS, Chrome OS, Android and Linux technologies
• Experience with Network device configurations and troubleshooting
• Well developed understanding of network security protocols
As well as working in an empowering student friendly modern environment and company culture, on offer is a salary widely variable in the range $55k to $70k plus superannuation to properly reflect your skills and experience.
